About Levelock Natives Ltd.
LNL was formed under the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act (ANCSA) of 1971 and incorporated in 1973. LNL’s portfolio of operations and investments includes leasing of land in Bristol Bay and lodging in Levelock, including two rental houses plus a newly formed heavy equipment rental company. This portfolio is well suited for LNL’s remote location along the Kvichak River in the Lake and Peninsula Borough. The Kvichak River connects Bristol Bay to Lake Iliamna and provides an important source of nutrients for commercial and subsistence salmon fishing. Residents also hunt caribou, moose and other wildfowl in the community.

LNL strives to integrate successful business practices with its values, traditional way of life and vision for the future – for its shareholders by working collectively to bring economic prosperity, job security and opportunities for knowledge and advancement. Respect, determination, honesty and integrity forms the foundation of its relationships.
Levelock is on the 11-mile long Levelock Creek where it joins with the Kvichak. Surrounding the town is level ground with thousands of depressions filled with water which create lakes of all sizes. Grasses, willow and alder blanket the area. The Yupik village was reported as Kvichak by early Russian explorers, first recorded in the 1890 census in 1939 a post office was established under the name Levelock.
